WORKS ON MYLAR

These works on mylar explore the science and poetry of the body and mind, imagining the morphology of biological processes as they relate to patterns and phenomenon in nature: from cellular movement to atmospheric meteorological weather events, from the stepped wings of the human spine to the frozen footprints on a forest trail, from folds of brain tissue to the billowing pillows of cumulus clouds. I translate this associative experience into a visual language of intuitive forms and expressive marks.
